Hi. My name is Jessica Anne Roberts. Welcome to my website.

I grew up in Phoenix, I still live here, and I’ll probably die here. Which I’ve slowly come to accept. That’s not to say I’d be opposed to moving. It might be nice to switch things up and settle down somewhere new. But for now, I’m happy where I am.

I’m a writer. During my free time, I like to write novels. I’ve written quite a few (I started my first one in high school). Before you ask what the titles are and where you can buy them, no, I am not published yet. But I’m working on it. Self-publishing is looking better and better every day.

I love food (but who doesn’t, right?) I like to bake and cook and I’d much rather make something myself then go out and pay for it, though I do enjoy dining out with my family and friends occasionally.

I have a younger sister who also writes yet weirdly enough our parents are not writers (they all live in the Valley, too).

I’m half British and have a UK passport to prove it! A lot of my dad’s family still lives in England and we go visit them as much as we can. I love England to infinity and beyond despite the rain, coldness, and driving-on-the-left-side-of-the-road thing.

Also, here’s a picture of my furbaby, Socks. I adopted him from a rescue organization on October 4th 2014. I might mention him a lot, since he’s the love of my life (Purple and Paws is the blog where I chronicle my dog mom experiences).
